Here is a vintage car from 1914 that I came across in a rally in the Leicestershire countryside at the weekend. Intriguingly, it had three pedals for the driver, not the customary two; the accelerator and the clutch. What was the 3rd pedal for?
Believe it or not, the middle pedal is to select reverse!
